In order to promote the theme of Global Citizenship, several of our cohort decided to print bracelets to take as gifts to the students we will meet in India.

These bracelets will also be great in my classroom in San Diego.

What does it mean to be a global citizen? To me it means not only having an awareness of the rest of the world, but to understand how everyone’s actions are interrelated. Global citizenship means actively seeking to understand how the issues that affect me locally also affect others globally.
